Biholomorphic Invariants of a Hyperbolic Manifold and Some Applications
A biholomorphically invariant real function hx is defined for a hyperbolic manifold X. Properties of such functions are studied. These properties are applied to prove the following theorem. If a hyperbolic manifold X can be exhausted by biholomorphic images of a strictly pseudoconvex domain D C C" with dD G C3, then X is biholomorphically equivalent either to D or to the unit ball in C". The pr...

For a closed, oriented 3-manifold M and an integer r > 0, let τr(M) denote the SU(2) Reshetikhin-Turaev-Witten invariant of M , at level r. We show that for every n > 0, and for r1, . . . , rn > 0 sufficiently large integers, there exist infinitely many non-homeomorphic hyperbolic 3-manifolds M , all of which have different hyperbolic volume, and such that τri(M) = 1, for i = 1, . . . , n.
متن کاملApplications of some Graph Operations in Computing some Invariants of Chemical Graphs
In this paper, we first collect the earlier results about some graph operations and then we present applications of these results in working with chemical graphs.
متن کاملHolomorphic Disks and Three-manifold Invariants: Properties and Applications
In [27], we introduced Floer homology theories HF(Y, s), HF(Y, s), HF(Y, t), ĤF (Y, s),and HFred(Y, s) associated to closed, oriented three-manifolds Y equipped with a Spinc structures s ∈ Spinc(Y ). In the present paper, we give calculations and study the properties of these invariants. The calculations suggest a conjectured relationship with Seiberg-Witten theory. The properties include a rel...
متن کاملA Hyperbolic 4-Manifold
There is a regular 4-dimensional polyhedron with 120 dodecahedra as 3-dimensional faces. (Coxeter calls it the "120-cell".) The group of symmetries of this polyhedron is the Coxeter group with diagram: For each pair of opposite 3-dimensional faces of this polyhedron there is a unique reflection in its symmetry group which interchanges them. The result of identifying opposite faces by these refl...
